This is one section of the story!
Approximately 20 years ago, there was a nuclear explosion. One of the nuclear power plants near Washington D.C. had a total system shutdown. Yet, in that shutdown, the people neglected their duties. One of which was to make sure that the coolant was still circulating through the core. The person failed to do this. His name was Frederic Sotanna. As the day grew into night, the coolant decreased at an incredible rate. The core began to become visible. When this happened, the nuclear radiation began to have a leak. A silent, yet very deadly enemy, the radiation leaked out further and further. Almost everyone that worked in the nuclear plant died later that day. The radiation affected them without them knowing it. Their families were infected and it slowly began to spread throughout the city. Of course, all of this happened without anyone noticing. Now because of that one man's neglection, the entire state of Maryland is infected with radiation poisoning.
